Professional Awards

• IFLA International Marketing Award
  Sponsored by the IFLA Management and Marketing Section and EMERALD Group Publishing Ltd.

• BRILL/IFLA Open Access Award
  Created to reward initiatives that facilitate and/or promote Open Access Scholarly Monographs in the humanities or social sciences.

• IFLA Communicator of the Year
  This award focuses on IFLA activities of any communicator(s) of any IFLA group.

• Best IFLA Poster
  On behalf of the Professional Committee, a jury will select the best poster from those displayed during the World Library and Information Congress. See the current WLIC web pages (under Programme) for more details.

• IFLA Certificate of Service
  Awarded by the IFLA Professional Committee to individuals retiring from IFLA activities who have served eight years or more in the capacity of an IFLA Officer.

  Attendance Grants for IFLA Congress to an information professional from each of these regions: Africa, Latin America, Asia/Pacific region.
• Library and Information Science Student Paper Grant
  Sponsored by the IFLA Education & Training Section and ekz.bibliotheksservice; rewards the best LIS student paper submission for the IFLA Congress each year.
