As of Number 28, Summer 1995, the UDT Newsletter has ceased publication.

The UDT Newsletter reported on UDT and related applicable IFLA activities and contained tutorial articles on networking technologies to library operations. The Newsletter was published three times a year in English, French, Spanish and Russian and was distributed free of charge. The Biblioteca Nacional of Spain provided the Spanish translation of the text for the Spanish edition (Boletín informativo UDT). The Russian State Library translated and distributed of the Russian version of the UDT Newsletter.
