The IFLA Sections for the Blind and Libraries Serving Disadvantaged Persons are jointly running a full day workshop on readers with special needs. The workshop is primarily user based and will concentrate on the individual needs and experiences of a range of readers with special needs from within the community. Topics for discussion will include disability legislation, the needs of the deaf blind reader, large print and easy-to-read publications.
