Voting at IFLA’s General Assembly: a brief introduction
On 24 June 2009, IFLA posted to all members the Convening Notice for the next General Assembly meeting which will take place during the IFLA Congress in Milan, Italy. The General Assembly meeting will be held on Wednesday 26 and Thursday 27 August. During the General Assembly, IFLA members will have the opportunity to vote on several strategic issues.
All IFLA members that have paid their membership fees for 2009 have the right to vote and will receive a Voting Form by regular post.
Don't let your vote be lost if you are not able to vote! You can have someone to vote for you by using the Proxy Form that accompanys your Voting Form. The Proxy Form authorizes your voting replacement and is available in all seven official languages of IFLA:
English | Deutsch | Français | Español | العربية | 中文 | Русский
Please note that you'll only have the right to vote during the General Assembly if your membership fee has been paid. If your membership fee is received after July 15, please contact our Membership Officer Lidia Putziger at IFLA Headquarters in order to get your Voting Form and Proxy Form.
