Develop a listserv-discussion list for librarians in government libraries to foster communication and exchange of information.
Organise topical Open Sessions and workshops both individually and jointly with other sections and units of IFLA to provide coverage of issues of interest to government librarians.
Analyse, with other IFLA units, the impact of electronic information on special libraries.
