From 11 till 13 november 2009 a reading Summit will take place in Toronto, Canada. More details will follow. One of the speakers will be Ingrid Bon, chair of Ifla section Libraries for Children and Young Adults.

Social Science Libraries Section Program

The Milan Conference is almost here and this year indicates a spectacular venue and excellent programming to match by the Social Science Libraries Standing Committee. Chairman, Steve Witt said, "...we have an interesting panel that will address the role of social science libraries in preserving cultural heritage, covering professional development; work with cultural organizations, and [a] major digital library initiative."
