Mission and/or Vision Statements of Government Libraries Worldwide
The IFLA Government Libraries section has launched this new publication online. This is a list of real mission and/or vision statements, current at a certain point in time, sorted by country.
The intent is not to maintain a directory of current mission and/or vision statements but, rather, to provide examples for others who may be looking for usable language for their ownmission and/or vision statements. The statements will not be updated but additional statements will be added periodically.
Libraries can contact the Section in order to send their statements.
