Themes and Focus

New librarians are positioning themselves as library leaders inacademia, libraries, and professional associations. This event aims toaddress key themes and leading trends to provide library services whilechanging attitudes and expectations on the way. New Professionals SIG workshop at BOBCATSSS 2010

from January 25 to 27, BOBCATSSS 2010 will take place in Parma, Italy. The New Professionals SIG will actively participate in the symposium by offering a workshop as well as a presentation. The workshop on Day 1 is entitled "Bridging the gap - Involving new professionals in the international development of our profession in the digital world" and will be hosted together with current IFLA President Ellen Tise.
