IFLA President, Ingrid Parent,
will be a keynote speaker during the sixth Shanghai International Library Forum (SILF). The SILF 2012 is themed "Smart City and Library Service", and is scheduled between July 17th and 19th, 2012, as one of the events of the Diamond Jubilee Celebration of the Shanghai Library.

Dear Colleagues,

It gives me a great pleasure to announce the launch of the IFLA Chinese Language Center (IFLA-CLC) website.

The site is written in the Chinese language as a communication platform for the Chinese Speaking library professionals and a source of information about IFLA and its activities.

The new website includes informational material about IFLA, the IFLA Chinese Language Center, IFLA's latest news, and upcoming conferences.
