Mission

The mission of CLM is to support the professional priorities of IFLA relating to copyright and other legal matters, which might have an impact on library and information services. In particular CLM will promote a balance between the rights of authors and the needs of users who require access to information.

Joint statement at WIPO calls for exceptions and limitations

IFLA, in cooperation with eIFL and LCA, has delivered a statement at the third session of The WIPO Committee on Development and Intellectual Property taking place now in Geneva. In the statement IFLA, eIFL and LCA encourages WIPO to formulate a project document to examine core limitations and exceptions to benefit developing nations.
