Description
CLA's role as an advocate for library issues at the national level is recognized and supported by the library community. Ingrid Parent is Canada's first IFLA President, and now leads the advocacy efforts of IFLA on behalf of the international library community. Ingrid will provide an overview of IFLA's current advocacy initiatives, and discuss the relationship between IFLA, national associations, national governments, and international bodies during the conference.
