Registration is now open for the 2012 IFLA Presidential Programme! This international meeting will be held at the beautiful First Nations House of Learning on the campus of the University of British Columbia, which is located on the traditional, unceded territory of the Musqueam First Nations People. This meeting will be the opportunity for all those interested in Indigenous and traditional knowledge; its creation, organization and access; to better understand the local and global issues under discussion in various parts of the world and by many types of cultural, heritage, and community groups and organizations.

This gathering will be an exciting and moving experience for all participants. I look forward to welcoming you to Vancouver.

Ingrid Parent,
