Persons accompanying conference delegates but not attending the conference itself pay a registration fee of R650 (South Africa) / US$120 (African countries) / US$165 (countries outside Africa). The fee includes lunches at the conference venue and the evening functions PLUS a half-day tour of Pretoria on Monday 25 October - the Voortrekker Monument, Kruger Museum, Church Square, Melrose House, the Union Buildings and a drive through history-rich suburbs.

Optional Extra Trips for Accompanying Persons

Bookings will be made during the conference week, depending on interest.

Tuesday 26 October

A shopping and browsing trip to Pretoria's upmarket malls. Transport: free. Participants pay for their own refreshments.

Thursday 28 October

Visit to the South African National Zoological Gardens. Transport: free. Participants pay for their own entrance fee and refreshments at zoo.

Friday 29 October

Join in one of the conference delegates' visits to a library (see conference programme) or do your own thing. An exciting range of additional optional excursions is available for Friday 29 October. More information will be available at the information desk during the conference.
