The Danish-financed IFLA project in Ghana to promote interlending and document delivery by using new information technology such as the Internet has been delayed. Nevertheless, it is expected to be fully operational in the last part of 1998. At the IFLA meeting in Amsterdam in August 1998 a workshop were to be held to discuss the planning of the project, the experience until then and the expectation of the project from both the organisers and the users. They expected to arrange a project evaluation seminar in Ghana in the first part of 1999.

A presentation at the 6th ILDS Conference could include:

- the main idea of the project - the experience in organising the project - experiences about document delivery - experiences about the technology - using the project idea in other parts of the world
