UNIMARC Survey 2008
In 2008, the UNIMARC Core Activity carried out a worldwide survey on
the usage of UNIMARC and related editorial and training activities.
The results were presented at IFLA 2008, Quebec.
The 2nd UNIMARC Users Meeting
took place at the Biblioteca Nazionale Centrale di Firenze, the
14th of March 2008, following the 19th PUC Meeting.
Opened by Dr.
Maurizio Fallace, Director-General for Library Heritage, Cultural
Institutes and Copyright and Antonia Fontana, Director of the BNCF, the
event gathered 70 participants from 7 countries.
Following introductory
papers by Maria Inês Cordeiro, Director of the UCA and Alan Hopkinson,
Chair of the PUC, the programme included seven presentations by users
from Italy, Greece, Slovenia, Russia, France and the Consortium of
European Research Libraries (CERL). See the presentations here.
