“Support for the promotion of access to information, and the library profession in Madagascar”
Comite pour la Sauvegarde de L’integrite (CSI) in collaboration with Bibliotheque Universitaire d’Antananarivo (BU), Centre d’Information et de Documentation Scientifique et Technique (CIDST)

IFLA, in association with CSI, will:

  1. Promote transparency and access to information
  2. Promote documentation centres to advance the library profession in Madagascar
  3. Form a new National Library Association in Madagascar

The project consists of the following:

  1. Workshops on transparency and library associations utilising IFLA training materials
  2. General Assembly to form the new National Association
  3. Press briefing
  4. Communication nationally to reach librarians who are not in Antananarivo
