International Research Abstracts: Youth Library Services 1996-97 (IRAYLS)

To help librarians share resources and skills, the Children's Section of IFLA sponsors a database containing abstracts of research being conducted on library services for young people. Coverage is international, although most of the studies come from North America. Abstracts are arranged in twelve categories and are alphabetical within each category by author's name.

  Joint project of IFLA, Section of Children's Libraries and UNESCO. Since 1973 this project has provided children and young adults in developing countries with reading material through contributions in the international monetary unit of UNESCO-UNUMs. The Project has finished on 2002 and has been successfully completed on the Glasgow Conference, 2002
