LIASA (Library and Information Association of South Africa) announces grant for IFLA WLIC 2015

The Library and Information Association of South Africa (LIASA) is pleased to announce that the Department of Arts and Culture (South Africa) has made available a grant in support of Public Librarians’ attendance of the 81^st IFLA World Library and Information Congress.

This grant will provide the opportunity to 100 library practitioners from Community and Public Libraries to attend IFLA WLIC 2015.

Criteria

• Preference will be given to library practitioners from Public and Community Libraries in South Africa.
• Preference will be given to paid up LIASA members.
• Applicants must not have registered or paid the registration fee already, or committed to volunteer at the conference.
