Budgeting for IFLA Professional Activities:
The Professional Committee manages an annual budget for supporting the activities of the IFLA Professional Units (Divisions and Sections). It is divided into two parts: Administrative Funds and Project Funds.
Administrative Funds are allocated at the beginning of the year to the Sections. The guidelines and policy on this are currently under review.
The Project Funds are allocated upon approval of specific proposals made by the units.
Project Funds for 2013: the call for project proposals will open at the beginning of October 2012 (exact date still to be announced).
Instructions and deadlines are updated annually; practical information on reporting and making claims is found in the Officers Corner Finances section.
