The Semantic Web SIG is dedicated to gathering and disseminating information about the use of Semantic Web standards in libraries.

Created following IFLA WLIC 2011 in Puerto Rico, the Semantic Web Special Interest Group (SWSIG) intends to gather professionals interested in the application of Semantic Web standards such as RDF and OWL to library data and applications, and the development of Linked Data in libraries.

Semantic Web activities at IFLA World Library and Information Congress 2014, Lyon

Join us for our satellite meeting "Library Linked Data: Let's Make It Happen!" in Paris on August 14th. The programme is now available. The Semantic Web SIG session during the congress is scheduled on monday 18th of August, 15:00.
