The workshop on free access to legal information was opened on 29 May 2017 by the Secretary General of the National Assembly of Côte d’Ivoire, Mr. Latte Ahouanzi. Organized jointly by the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA) and the International Association of Law Libraries (IALL), this workshop will enable librarians to share their experiences and knowledge on the development of their profession. It should be noted that Sonia Poulin and Michel Fraysse are taking part in this workshop during which several themes will be discussed. This includes free access to legal information; The evolution of documentary resources; Open access in higher education and scientific research in Côte d’Ivoire from the project of the virtual library; Free legal resources in Côte d’Ivoire. The workshop will end on 30 May 2017.
