MetLib 2017

We are pleased to share with you the preliminary version of the IFLA MetLib conference programme!

The co-hosts of this event, Bibliothèque et Archives nationales du Québec (BAnQ) and City of Montréal, are looking forward to seeing you from Sunday, April 30 to Friday, May 5. Many remarkable speakers have confirmed their presence to this event, which will be held under the theme of Partnerships: Creating a New Vision for Libraries. We invite you to take a look on what they’ve prepared for you and the activities that are scheduled during the week.

Registration on its way!

The deadline for the registration is extended until April 7. Make sure you get your ticket on time! All the information about the registration process is available on the MetLib website.

Accommodation in Montréal

MetLib conference participants will benefit from preferential rates at certain hotels. A limited number of rooms have already been blocked with a preferential rate and most of them will expire on March 31. Don’t delay! Please visit the Accommodation page for further information and be sure to mention the hotel’s booking code when booking.

2017 is a year to celebrate!

There are many good reasons to participate in a MetLib conference and this year even more will be added to the list. 2017 marks Montréal’s 375th anniversary. It also marks the 50th anniversary of the foundation of INTAMEL, the International Association of Metropolitan Libraries, which later became the IFLA Section on Metropolitan Libraries.

We hope to see you in Montréal!
