The guidelines have been developed by an international working group working under the joint responsibility of both the Library Services to People with Special Needs Section (LSN) and the Libraries Serving Persons with Print Disabilities Section (LPD).

The guidelines aim to offer guidance to IFLA professional units and all its members worldwide on developing and implementing library services for persons with dyslexia. These guidelines are both a revision and an expansion of the current guidelines.

The new revised and expanded guidelines are yet to be approved by IFLA, and are therefore available as Draft IFLA Guidelines for Library Services to Persons with Dyslexia .

The checklist included in the guidelines is also available as the poster Dyslexia? Welcome to our library!
