Happy 2020! Welcome to the new decade. It is also a great opportunity to know new friends in the region whom we can work together for the future of the libraries.

In this issue, we feature a number of events and highlight a number of upcoming interesting seminars and conferences that happened in Asia & Oceania Region during the last quarter of 2019. You can also find out more of the NEXT Library 2020 Satellite and participate in the event that would be coming to our region in October 2020.

In this quarter, I would like to introduce Mr Ng Cher Pong, the new CEO of the National Library Board, who took over from Mrs Elaine Ng on 1 December 2019. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Mrs Ng for her contributions and welcome Mr Ng to the library community.
