Impact and influence

Between 1 July 2021 and 30 June 2022, Hungary fulfils the rotating presidency of the Visegrad Group (V4). On this occasion, the State Secretariat for Culture of the Ministry of Human Capacities is organizing a two-day international conference as part of the presidency program.

The main goal is to give an overview on the good practices of the cultural sphere developed during the pandemic, which can be used in the future. The online form also provides an exceptional opportunity for cultural institutions, which are geographically far from each other but share common values, to connect or even to cooperate.

Overview of the best practices of cultural institutions

The programme based on plenary sessions and sections of the 9 disciplines of the cultural sector (museum, theatre/circus arts, music, dance, literature, community culture/tradition, library, archive and a section for the situation of contemporary arts and galleries).
