Empoderando a los líderes bibliotecarios y la diversidad en todo el mundo: la experiencia de América Latina y el Caribe
La Sección de Gestión de Asociaciones de Bibliotecarios (MLAS) de la IFLA, en colaboración con el Grupo de Interés Especial de Nuevos Profesionales (NPSIG), se enorgullece de anunciar el quinto evento de una nueva serie de seminarios web para empoderar a los nuevos líderes bibliotecarios en todo el mundo y fomentar la diversidad dentro de la profesión.
En el transcurso de seis seminarios web, las asociaciones de bibliotecarios de los países de cada División Regional presentarán las oportunidades que brindan a los bibliotecarios nuevos y experimentados, incluidas las oportunidades de liderazgo y cómo estas asociaciones de bibliotecarios están fomentando la diversidad dentro de la profesión bibliotecaria y el liderazgo. El formato del seminario web incluye oportunidades interactivas para involucrar a los asistentes en conversaciones sobre aquellos temas que generarán las mejores prácticas y recomendaciones y las necesidades de los profesionales nuevos y experimentados.
Las ideas obtenidas de estos seminarios web informarán y enriquecerán la sesión abierta de MLAS en WLIC 2022 en Dublín, que se centrará en el mismo tema.
Nos complace presentar asociaciones de bibliotecarios y bibliotecarios de todas las regiones del mundo en esta serie de seminarios web. Nuestro quinto seminario web el 15 de junio presenta la región de América Latina y el Caribe. Hora: 1pm Costa Rica/ 2pm México/ 3pm Nueva York/ 4pm Argentina

Empowering Library Leaders and Diversity Worldwide- The Latin America & Caribbean Experience
IFLA’s Management of Library Associations Section (MLAS) in collaboration with the New Professionals Special Interest Group (NPSIG) is proud to announce the fifth event in a new webinar series to empower new library leaders worldwide and foster diversity within the profession.
Over the course of six webinars, library associations from countries in each Regional Division will present opportunities they provide for new and senior librarians including leadership opportunities and how these library associations are fostering diversity within the library profession and leadership. The webinar format includes interactive opportunities to engage attendees in conversations about those topics that will elicit best practices and recommendations and the needs of new and senior professionals.
The insights gained from these webinars will then inform and enrich the MLAS Open Session at WLIC 2022 in Dublin, which will focus on the same theme.
We are pleased to feature library associations and librarians from all regions of the world in this webinar series. Our fifth webinar on June 15 features the Latin America & Caribbean region. Time: 1pm Costa Rica/ 2pm México/ 3pm Nueva York/ 4pm Argentina
