Dear Friends,

We are thrilled to share with you the February 2022 issue of the IFLA Asia & Oceania Regional Newsletter, which is the first issue of the year.

You can find out more about the Leaders’ Conversations II – Visualising Our Future: Masterplans of Libraries and Archives, held in November 2021, in this very issue.

This year, IFLA has many exciting activities lined up for its members, including the 87th IFLA World Library and Information Congress that will be held in person at Dublin, Ireland from 26 to 29 July 2022. Subscribe to the IFLA Newsletter and the IFLA-L mailing list today to keep up with the latest happenings.

Given that digital preservation is a prevalent concern across libraries, archives, museums, and memory institutions, you might also be interested to find out more about the 18th International Conference on Digital Preservation, which is happening at Glasgow, Scotland from 12 to 16 September 2022. The call for contributions will close on 8 March 2022, and the details of the hybrid conference are available at ipres2022.scot.

It is heartening to know that many of you have been enthusiastically responding to our calls for contributions and reading through the articles that the team has specially curated for you. Please continue to keep the articles coming and share the newsletter with your colleagues and friends in the library sector.

We hope that you will enjoy this read and look forward to receiving more enlightening articles from the region for our subsequent issues.
