The IFLA Libraries for Children and Young Adults Section Standing Committee has vacancies and we are seeking nominees with an interest in library services for young people.

The main objectives of the standing committee is to: promote library services for children and young adults all over the world, and to encourage the exchange of best practices and research in all aspects of library service to this population.

The Standing Committee is currently engaged in projects related to internet safety, picture books and library partnerships, as well as guidelines for library services for young people. Please review our Standing Committee page for more information.

As with all IFLA Standing Committee nominations, interested persons should seek confirmation of a nomination from a nominator (an IFLA member or affiliate registered with the Libraries for Children and Young Adults section.) and complete the nomination form.

Please contact the Chair, Marianne Martens if you have any questions or require assistance with a nomination.
