From 25-26 May, UNESCO member states, policymakers, NGOs, cultural and education institutions, educators, artists and cultural professionals are coming together to help shape a future UNESCO Global Framework on Culture and Arts Education.

Working towards the UNESCO World Conference on Culture and Arts Education, to be held in Abu Dhabi in December 2023, this Dialogue will help shape an arts and cultural education framework that prepares all learners to be creative, active and engaged members of society.

IFLA is taking the floor on 26 May in a session on Life-long Learning, and will highlight the critical role libraries play in upholding cultural rights and making art and cultural education accessible for all members of society.
