Hosted in centres of expertise around the world, IFLA’s Preservation and Conservation (PAC) Centres are hubs of knowledge on regional and international issues in cultural heritage conservation and preservation. They are a key resource for IFLA’s wider work on cultural heritage.

Their work has one major goal: to ensure that library and archival materials, published and unpublished, in all formats, will be preserved and be accessible form for as long as possible.

They help deliver on IFLA’s overall commitment to the safeguarding of heritage, seen as an essential precondition for individual wellbeing, social cohesion, and sustainable development.
