Shaping a Culture Goal in the post-2030 Development Agenda
IFLA is proud to join its colleagues in the Culture2030Goal campaign in an event to launch a zero-draft of a possible culture goal, within the context of future global development framework.
The event will provide an opportunity to present the draft, which itself draws on the insights and inputs of cultural decision-makers and practitioners across the world, including of course librarians.
Following this, two panels will explore in turn how better to integrate culture into wider development agendas, and then what the implications of such a goal could be for the cultural sector itself, before closing with a more formal presentation to members of the press.
We hope that the draft will not only shape some of the discussions at the MONDIACULT conference as a whole, but also sow a seed that will grow in years to come.
Colleagues in Mexico in particular are encouraged to attend and engage through this form.
