IFLA Guidelines for Accessible Libraries and Services for Everyone
These guidelines are a revision of the Access to Libraries for Persons with Disabilities Checklist, published in 2005. They have been developed by an international working group and experts under the responsibility of the Equitable and Accessible Library Services Section (EALS) in cooperation with the Libraries Serving People with Print Disabilities Section. IFLA Guidelines for Library Services for People who are Deaf, Hard of hearing or Deafblind
EALS has started to revise our Guidelines for Library Services to Deaf People. After it was decided to move forward with updating these guidelines at the EALS mid-year meeting in 2016, a workshop was held in Washington at the EALS mid-year meeting in 2017, and a survey was conducted from February to April 2018.
