Being active with ENSULIB carries many benefits, including
- Expanding your professional network;
- Getting introduced to the Green Library network on an international level;
- Staying informed about sustainability issues important to both you as a green librarian and the green library field at large.
We’re always looking for volunteers to assist with our projects and activities! Contact us to get involved and gain experience with ENSULIB. Currently we are looking for help:
- Learn about ENSULIB’s webinars, news and events in social media, help plan and promote these and more;
- Participate and assist with conference sessions and paper reviews;
- Assist with activities requiring special expertise;
- Provide a translation for one of the ENSULIB’s resources;
- Support SGD stories for the Library Map of the World;
- Become a Section Standing Committee Member, please consult the IFLA Elections Page;
- Become an IFLA Member or IFLA Personal Affiliate and subscribe to ENSULIB, please consult the Join IFLA Page
Please join the ENSULIB Mailing list to get informed about all ENSULIB activities as well as related conferences etc. around the world! The Mailing list is also open for any related information you wish to distribute to the green and sustainable library field.
Don’t forget to follow the ENSULIB Newsletter which appears twice a year in December and June! The Newsletter reviews ENSULIB’s activities and achievements and provides a platform for presenting interesting stories, events or projects from libraries all over the world, which follow a clear green and sustainable commitment.
