MetLib Learning Circle
The MetLib Learning Circle facilitates new forms of learning and networking within the MetLib community. The learning circle focuses on how libraries build partnerships with local residents, civil society, businesses and philanthropies.
IFLA Metropolitan Libraries Short Film Award
The IFLA Metropolitan Libraries Short Film Award is part of “A Corto di libri”, a contest for short films about libraries and librarians, organized by Associazione Italiana Biblioteche (AIB). It is given to the best short film about public libraries in large cities and metropolitan areas, among all the submitted films.
Annual Statistical Survey (2000–2012)
Running from 2000 – 2012, the IFLA Metropolitan Libraries Annual Statistical Survey collected statistical data from public libraries all over the world. The last data refers to the year 2012.
Tibidabo project
The Tibidabo project, no longer active, started in 2003 with the aim of making available comparative facts and figures about the public libraries of the city and province of Barcelona in relation to similar territories of Europe.
