Global Vision Report: explore in detail the highlights, opportunities and key data from IFLA’s Global Vision discussions.

The report reveals the results of all the discussions and all opinions that have been gathered and analysed by IFLA as part of a unique process – a conversation with voices from all around the world and all parts of the profession.

Drawing on the contributions of more than 30, 000 colleagues from 190 countries and all 7 continents, it underlines that across all regions, all library types, and lengths of library experience, there is a deep and shared commitment to the enduring value and role of libraries.

Across the global library field, no value was more highly rated than a commitment to equal and free access to information and knowledge. But acknowledging regional characteristics and requirements is essential in our future efforts to unite the library field in addressing common challenges.
