New SIG approved on Evidence for Global and Disaster Health

A new SIG on Evidence for Global and Disaster Health has been approved and will be sponsored by the Health and Biosciences Libraries Section. The SIG was recommended for approval by the Professional Committee and endorsed by the Governing Board in December 2017.

Professional Unit Communication Award - call for nominations - by 31 July 2017

The IFLA Professional Unit Communication Award focuses on IFLA communication activities of any IFLA Professional Unit(s) – Divisions, Sections, Special Interest Groups, Strategic Programmes and Core Activities. To identify a winner of the award, the Professional Committee invites nominations to be submitted to IFLA Headquarters by the deadline of 31 July 2017.
