ALP projects for 2010 announced

At its April meeting, the ALP committee approved the following projects for 2010:


  1. International Workshop on the Development and Implementation of Online National Bibliographies in French-speaking West-African Countries
    Direction Nationale des Bibliothèques et de la Documentation, Bibliothèque Nationale du Mali
  2. Training of trainers on information literacy: A proposal to train librarians in the Botswana, Lesotho and Swaziland (BLS) countries Africa
    National University of Lesotho, together with the national library associations of Boswana, Lesotho, Swaziland

Asia and Oceania

  1. Training in Library skills for Palestinian schools librarians in activating the role of these schools libraries: Training of Trainers Second Round
    CARE The Center for Applied Research in Education, Occupied Palestinian Territories
  2. The creation of the strong library associations. The development of the library associations
    The Library Association of the Republic of Kazakhstan
  3. Building Capacity for In-country training for small library associations in the South Pacific Asia and Oceania
    Library Association of Samoa

Latin America and the Caribbean
