IFLA Section Standing Committees

IFLA is happy to announce the results of the runoff elections among Professional Unit Sections that resulted in a tie following the April elections.

The following Sections held runoff elections between 01 and 15 May 2023:

  • Indigenous Matters
  • Information Technology
  • Library Services to People with Special Needs
  • Metropolitan Libraries
  • Public Libraries: due to the election of candidates to multiple positions involving the above-mentioned Sections, the announcement of the results for the Public Libraries Section was delayed and is now complete.

IFLA Professional Divisions

The allocation of Professional Division Chairs to their Divisions for 2023-2025 has been completed. We are pleased to announce the final results.
