26 June 2017
We are pleased to announce the availability of Chinese, Russian and Arabic versions of our resource package for self-facilitated discussions under IFLA’s Global Vision. This will help bring together even more representatives of the library field worldwide to explore how a connected library field can meet the challenges of the future. Now it’s your turn!
Become a part of the global brainstorm: host a self-organised discussion!
Now available in Chinese, Russian and Arabic:
- Guidelines for Facilitators
- Guidelines for Organisers
- Communications materials
Implement or experiment with the discussion format. Engage the audience in vibrant discussion about the future of the united library field.
You’ll also find examples of draft communications to use in your own campaigns, but you are encouraged to be creative and adaptive to better meet the needs of your specific regional community.
Visit the Global Vision resources webpage
This material will soon be available in all seven official IFLA languages.
About the IFLA Global Vision
IFLA is facilitating a Global Vision discussion through a series of high-level meetings and workshops in different parts of the world following our kick-off event in Athens, Greece on 4 April 2017. Face-to-face and online, future-oriented conversations will be taking place throughout the year. See the Global Vision discussion website: globalvision.ifla.org for more details, and join the conversation on Twitter and Instagram using the #iflaGlobalVision hashtag.
