First of a planned series of talks on the policy and planning activities of IFLA. This was an opportunity for standing committee members from the professional units to obtain a better understanding of the strategic planning process that has begun at IFLA and also to gain a better sense of how IFLA is involved in policy planning at an international level.

This webinar featured:

  • IFLA President-elect Donna Scheeder, speaking about the strategic planning process that IFLA is currently engaged in,
  • as well as an update from Stuart Hamilton, IFLA Deputy Secretary General and Director, Policy and Advocacy, who talked about the work that IFLA is doing to inform and influence the development of the UN Post 2015 Development Framework based upon the Lyon Declaration.
