On September 20, a meeting of the national library community took place in the Library of the National Congress, on the occasion of the celebration of the Library Workers' Day.

In this meeting, the graduates of the Bibliotecology career of the whole country, who have obtained the best averages in their respective educational spaces, were awarded.

 In addition to this, the President of the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA) for the period 2017-2019 Glòria Pérez-Salmerón, sent her greetings to all the people present by videoconference and asked them to continue working to deepen and strengthen the bonds between professionals working in Latin American and Caribbean Libraries.
