Professional Unit Communication Award – call for nominations – by 31 July 2017
27 June 2017
DEADLINE: 31 July 2017
Full details of the announcement: /node/11477
Communicating effectively is critical for an international and distributed organization like IFLA. IFLA’s Professional Units (Sections, Special Interest Groups, Divisions, Strategic Programmes and Core Activities) have, by definition, a responsibility to improve worldwide communication within their realm of expertise. In doing so, they should also be keeping IFLA Members and others informed about how they are doing this, inviting input to their work, and seeking suggestions for new ways to work.
Every year the Professional Committee recognizes one or more of the IFLA Professional Units for their outstanding communication activities.
The IFLA Professional Unit Communication Award focuses on IFLA communication activities of any IFLA Professional Unit(s) – Divisions, Sections, Special Interest Groups, Strategic Programmes and Core Activities. To identify a winner of the award, the Professional Committee invites nominations to be submitted to IFLA Headquarters by the deadline of 31 July 2017.
