World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) +10 review Meeting

The World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) +10 review Meeting is starting next week in Paris, France. The meeting will take place from the 25th to the 27th of February, followed by an Internet Governance Forum (IGF) consultation meeting on the 28th of February and 1st of March.

IFLA will be hosting two panel sessions during the WSIS +10 meeting. These sessions will address the  ownership and licensing of digital information, and public access to the Internet. IFLA will represent the international library community in order to ensure that our voice is heard in the recommendations resulting from this meeting. These recommendations will have a direct influence on the WSIS +10 process and the next steps in this.

You can participate in the meeting through the remote participation mechanism, which will ensure that your voice is heard in the broader context of the meeting. We highly encourage you to partake in the meetings from wherever you are.
