Vote Online!

When you gather together thousands of librarians from all over the world amazing things can happen and the real-time IFLA Global Vision voting during the President’s Session at the World Library and Information Congress (WLIC) in Wrocław was no exception, producing incredible insights into the profession as it aims to create a globally united library field.

An extraordinary 6293 years of library experience and 2133 years of IFLA involvement assembled in the impressive Multifunctional Hall, forming an enormous collective bank of knowledge and were the first to participate in this next interactive phase of the Global Vision discussion.

As the last vote was entered, IFLA President Donna Scheeder opened the voting platform worldwide, and invites every librarian from all over the globe to get involved and have your say.

An incredible 2200 votes have been counted from 111 countries so far – a great start but we need many more to get a true reflection of what a united library field will look like.

Join in the discussion and let your voice be heard!
