Session No 251 on Thursday, August 29 from 8.30 – 10.30 am in the Banqueting Hall

The July IFLA WLIC 2019 Newsletter mentioned the session as one of the sessions you shouldn't miss to get the full perspective of IFLA and the activities of the library field across the world.

In 2017 the Continuing Professional Development and Workplace Learning Section created the CPDWL Coaching Initiative. A pilot coaching session was offered very successfully during the WLIC in Kuala Lumpur last year.

This year we are happy to announce that CPDWL is collaborating with the Management & Marketing Section on a Coaching Programme for WLIC in Athens.

We will present a drop-in session where participants can choose coaches from all over the world. The coaches will not only converse in English but in all official IFLA languages and beyond. At the entrance of the hall you will find hosts who will assist you in finding the right coach.

The focus of these coaching sessions will be to help develop the individual`s career and professional development and/or develop the individual`s understanding of how involvement in the work of IFLA can help with the individual`s career and professional development.

CPDWL and M&M invite all WLIC delegates to join the session.
