The 61st Series of Assembly of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) takes place from 21 to 29 September 2020, alongside other meetings such as the Marrakesh Treaty Assembly. This is the key opportunity for Member States to hear updates and take decisions about the work of WIPO across the board.

IFLA will attend the general segment, as well as items focusing on the Marrakesh Treaty and on the work of the Standing Committee on Copyright and Related Rights.

IFLA is championing efforts to get more countries to sign up to the Marrakesh Treaty, and pass the laws necessary to enable libraries to help people with print disabilities to access knowledge.
