Section’s preconference programme in Rome, 19th-21st August 2009.
The main theme of the Rome pre-conference is: "Information for
Democracy: Management, Access and Preservation". The third day of the
preconference will focus upon “Making the most of your resources"
to provide services. We require several presentations, panels or
workshops.
We invite proposals for papers, workshops or panels that present,
analyse or discuss:
- Open Source options
- Contracting out of services
- Consortia to share resources
- Inter-parliamentary cooperation to give better
value for money
- Staff development or performance management to
achieve better results
- How to put together a business case
We would like presentations on case studies to illustrate these
topics.
