New Information Professionals in Puerto Rico

Loida García-Febo, former Convenor of the IFLA New Professionals Special Interest Group, met with a Planning Team in Puerto Rico to discuss the New Professionals’ program and strategies to be presented at IFLA 2011 Puerto Rico. Dr. Noraida Dominguez-Flores and Prof. Yesenia Hernández-Santiago, lead the team.

Students participating in the team are: Hilda Teresa Ayala, Carmen Teresa Taboas, Desimarie Quintana, Carmen Taina Pérez and Mercy Delgado, of the Graduate School of Information Sciences and Technologies of the University of Puerto Rico.

The Team met at the Madre María Teresa Guevara Library, of the University of the Sacred Heart, on Tuesday, December 21, 2010.
