Saludos a Todos!

On Friday, 25 March 2011, on the way towards the celebration of the World Congress IFLA 2011 PUERTO RICO, a Significant Learning Experience took place at the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus.

IFLA President Ellen Tise and ACURIL President Ardis Hanson got together to present their views about The Challenge of and Strategies for Equal Access to Information with Learning and Research Commons in Libraries in the Caribbean: Moving Towards the Future and the Future is Here!

Over 80 participants took part, including: students, library practitioners, educators and other information professionals.

The conference was broadcast live on Ustream—additional video highlights are still available—and the two talks by IFLA President Ellen Tise and ACURIL President Ardis Hanson are now available as podcasts.

In addition, photos from the conference are available on Flickr.

The enthusiasm reigns.  Get ready to attend and share more significant experiences at IFLA 2011 PUERTO RICO!
