IFLA WLIC 2013 - Grant for ASEAN Delegates

Thanks to generous donations from Overdrive, HP Enterprise Group, FotoHub, High-End Communications Pte Ltd and NCS Pte Ltd, IFLA and the National Committee are pleased to announce a grant to sponsor approximately 60 delegates from ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) countries.

There are approximately 60 grants of 500 Singapore Dollar each. Eligible are librarians and/or information professionals from ASEAN* Countries.

The grant is given out on a 'first come, first served basis'.

Applicants have to confirm within 4 weeks of our confirmation that they accept the grant and that they will pay for all other expenses otherwise the grant will be passed on to another candidate. It is possible for delegates who have already registered to apply, a refund will then be given.

Applications should enclose:

• a letter from the institution or university confirming that the applicant is a library and/or information professional or a student of  the subject
• a scan of the passport or identity card clearly indicating the  country of residence
• full name and address details for receipt of confirmation and  payment details

Application is now closed, grantees whose applications have been accepted will be contacted by the congress secretariat.

*ASEAN Countries: Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines,  Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam
